KL trip (19 - 20 Sept 09)

1st day of the holiday, taking a bus from JB to KL, I thought the bus will be fully occupied since this is long holiday, should more people go back hometown or went for holiday. Maybe is the earliest scheduled bus (7am). But is good, I can choose my seat.

Maybe is late sleep in Friday night, this is 1st time I was slept almost 2/3 during the journey to KL, but is good, can be really relax and was realised that quite some time didn't take bus to KL after graduate from the college, although quite often be in KL in past few years and even the recent trip was on National Day holiday which I attend the ANTS, in past few years, I used to drove, and every trip is due to work or BB, so never has chance to observed the changes in KL.

But this trip is different, although the purpose of this trip is to go IEM, but I plan to have some relax time in KL, to see the changes and visit to various places.

After reach KL, surprisingly the bus drop us at Bukit Jalil Stadium......it was out of my plan, I got no idea on the next move, so by no choice, take a taxi to IEM in PJ, as I know PJ should be quite near from the stadium, it shall not cost me much.

My assumption is correct, it just take me 30 mins, but the cab fees cost me RM40......the most angry is the driver don't know the direction, luckily, I bring map along. although in the end the driver just drop me at MBPJ, but just follow the map, I could found my way to IEM.

When I reached, another surprise again!!! IEM was closed, what is this???!!!!

Before I buy ticket, I did email and make call to IEM, and they confirm they are open on 19 Sept and they keep emphasized I must be there before 1pm, so I take the earliest bus and reach there about 10.30am.......

So angry!!! But what can I do......

Travel back to KL town, look for a guesthouse to settle down 1st.

It was so scary to stay at this guesthouse near Bukit Bintang, got a staff like a gay, after show me the room and bargain for the room rate......he keep saying this rate is specially offer to me....and he keep smiling at me with a very weird sound....

After paid, I quickly go into the room, drop the luggage and go out quickly......

But maybe I didn't plan, go no idea where to go, so just go for lunch at McDonald, then just reminded need help Guo Jian buy the drum pad.

But luckily Bukit Bintang area don't have much change, I found the shop easily.

After that, just go for a few places to have a look......The Garden, Mid Valley.......

But there is no interesting things there, but so many people keep recommend must visit.......

Never mind. go back to KL town again, I wanted to buy some books and DVD in the shopping center next to Kota Raya. but was surprise that this place was occupied by a mini market.......Haiz.....no idea on the next move again...

At the same time, a heavy rain drop, what is this??!! got no place to go and is heavy rain......

Got no choice, hang around in Pasar Seni, just hope that the rain will stop in a short while, then I can walk back to the guesthouse...

But the rain never stop after 1 hour and getting heavier......

At the end......really feel tired to wait there, so just use a small umbrella and walk slowly back, but the rain seen like getting heavier, but since I was wet, I decided just walk back.

After bath, read the book that I bring until the rain stop around 7pm, then just go out for dinner.

It was 9pm, got no place can go since I don't want to go shopping & pub, so just went back to my room, hope to see other travellers, so that can chat with them......but I think it is more excited at outside, so nobody was there......so no choice, sleep early...... and decided to leave KL early in the next day...

  4. Missing home is good as you will care for your family more than others. Wish you have a good trip.
